Her daugter is an amazing singer and sings in the Tent Meeting. Dr. Luana is an author as well and has a television broadcast and radio broadcast that is based in San Diego, CA. Last night's service (Wed - July 1) was about being Tormented and whether or not you are tired of being tormented. We are all created in God's image and his plan for us is good but there are forces of darkness at work in our lives as well designed to torment and we must be filled with the Holy Spirit and know God's word in order to be able to fight them off in authority and power that only comes from Jesus Christ. Also last night there was a young man who at first seemed to be disrupting service but by the end of service he was in the altar call line giving his life to the Lord and many were receiving the gift of the filling of the Holy Spirit. Exciting news! I have been accepted on the #1 Self Growth Internet Site SelfGrowth.com. This is yet another platform that the Lord is opening up to use as a launchpad for ministry. My area of expertise is in overcoming insurmountable odds and having victory regardless of the past. Self-Esteem, Domestic Violence, Physical Abuse, Sexual Abuse, Emotional Distress are aspects that I come from. Losing all my kids and grandkids to foster care for fourteen months, having a first marriage to a man that at the time was DL or down low and now is living with aspects of HIV and having children with him and directing my children and their questions and feelings on the subject, being a single parent for so long and the stresses that come along with it, dealing with my current husband who at one time was addicted to prescription drugs but God delivered him from it, identity issues and battles in my mind of worthlessness and fear. God is an amazing God. He has breathed new life in me even when I could not breathe for myself. My life is VICTORY again and again. "Those that sow in tears shall reap in joy." Background information about me is that I once was in a world of abuse: physical, sexual and emotional. I battled with low self-esteem and insecurity for many years leading me in and out of bad relationships and to a lifestyle of stripping and working in massage parlors while being very promiscuous. God has delivered me and empowered me to teach others how to be empowered to prosper in every aspect of their lives. I am a mother of five and I understand the difficulties faced as a single parent. I understand how kids can get off-track as well as parents becoming frustrated and tired trying to provide for children in an ever changing world that seems to make it harder rather than easier to raise children in today. I did experience losing all of my kids and grandkids to foster care for a total of 14 months and I had to fight very hard to get them back. I have a heart for those that others tend to throw away or give up on because for so long I felt I was not worth keeping. God gave me a message to deliver that "Everyone Is Worth Keeping" and I am moving in an evangelistic vein within my church and community. I have written a book titled "Victory Over Defeat EVERY TIME!"
